Because I'm so in love with your products and I have nearly run out : ( I would love to try one of your blue mixes. Lisa from Crafteroon Tea x
ReplyDeleteI would love a skein because I adore your yarn and it's an addiction I need to feed again ;op Nothing in the shops anywhere near stacks up to your yarns! Ange. I'd love to try anything!
ReplyDeleteBecause I've never tried your yarn (only found out about it a few days ago) but it looks really lovely
ReplyDeleteI would love a skein because I've not yet bought any and I'm now on a yarn (and general spending) diet so can't buy any. I'd love to try fuchsia, pink, turquoise, light turquoise.
ReplyDeleteI already follow your blog.
I would love to try the blue/green self striping yarn so I could wear my blue green socks on the days I'm not wearing my pink/orange ones. Actually I'm thinking about making arm warmers - imagine stripey arms and feet what could be more awesome than that!
ReplyDeleteI would love some yarn in Hand-dyed 100% BFL sock yarn.
ReplyDeleteSemi-solid – Blue denim because I'm moving across the hauraki gulf (waiheke to auckland) on a ferry to live with my partner and I would like to knit him some socks to start our life together :)
Ofcourse I would like to win your selfstriping sockyarn.
ReplyDeleteYou have yarn to die(dye) for and I would really like to try it out!
I like the purple green colorrange.
I will keep my own fingers crossed :)
Helene!!! As you know I'm a Happy-go-Knitty yarn addict already. I'd love to try some BFL in moss green tones, it's one colour I don't think I've tried from you yet :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to try your self striping yarn .... every time I knit with self striping I am amazed by it. My son's favourite colour is pink (go figure) and he was born in Holland so I'd choose your pink and orange combo. It's so interesting and both colours are somewhat special to us.
ReplyDeleteI'm a recent convert to your yarn - I love it! I've already got a great blue colourway with orange, but I think next I'd love to try a red/orange/yellow variety - nice and bright for winter! Also, already following your blog - a big fan :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this giveaway - I've never tried BFL yarn at all, and your colours are so delicious, what better combination? I think maybe a combo of any of blue/teal/yellow/purple/green would be neat! (You have my contact details from the blue merino/silk Solomon's knot shawl.)
ReplyDeleteOOOh I would love to win some of your yarn even though I am already addicted!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink and orange the best now :OD
Thank you Helene!
I would love to win so I can start a project just for myself - we've moved to beautiful Otago where the air is crisp and my toes are feeling the chill!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try your yarn out your gorgeous looking sock yarn. There are lots of patterns in my collection that I have yet to try. Not only would my feet feel super toasty, they will look super cute too!
ReplyDeleteTo complete my response, I love the blue! Should I be very lucky, you can contact me via ellaquaintnz on facebook :)
DeleteThese colours are beautiful! So hard to choose. Just teaching myself to make slippers...maybe socks next on the list!
ReplyDeleteLove your yarn because it is an explosion of colours, pure colour!
ReplyDeleteWould like to get the fourth from left side, the colour of the sea :)
silvia.castelli@katamail.com
I would love to win some in a warm cosy red or orange tone to knit some cosy socks to keep my feet warm on our wood floor this winter. Unfortunately I have lost one of the socks my Mum knitted me so I will have to hop all winter otherwise!
ReplyDeleteHello:)
ReplyDeleteI would love to win some of the purple/fuchsia mix!! I always admire your yarn and maybe winning one would give me the perfect excuse to try making something with it:)
Absolutely Alice x
I would love a skein so I can make my sister a pair of socks for her birthday. I think she would love the blue turquoise colourway :)
ReplyDeleteI'm already a follower, so I'll stick to a comment. I would love to win you yarn to make my first pair of socks, I'm so nervous about it but maybe my mom can help me out. It would be perfect since the weather is more like autumn here in Holland and nothing like warm sunny spring. Hot cup of tea, some Semi-solid – Burgundy/purple and a pair of needles and I'm all gooood.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
yes yes yes!! Because I would absolutely promise to start knitting on circulars (hence return many times for more gorgeous sock yarn) rather than my present needle in the armpit technique. Greens and blues...but all colours are so delicious
ReplyDeleteOoh I've just found you via Mme Poppy and Bee. I've normally a crochet queen, but I've been getting into my knitting lately. I have a pattern for socks, but I'm just waiting for the right yarn to use - any of your colours would be awesome. I'm usually into greens, but the rich orange/fushia is also yummy. Beautiful stuff! Also love the merino/silk yarns
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the beautiful coulours. All of them... if I win I 'd like something blue :) xx Cat
ReplyDeleteI would choose the blue/purple mix but it would be so hard to decide whether to knit socks that I could wear when I'm not wearing myhappy goknitty orange/pink ones, or would I make striped arm warmers so I could be stripey from top to toes??? - Elizabeth - Zippitydoodah
ReplyDeletewhat lovely colours - hard to choose, but turquoise, would look fantastic as arm warmers for the colder mornings we are getting!
ReplyDeleteOh those yarns are really beautiful! I will try my first socks and if I win I would like the blue tones! Thank you so much for this great giveaway!
ReplyDeletePS. I already followed your blog :)
Best wishes,
Lovestitch
Oh yes I would love to try the self striping yarn... it will be a good excuse to finally knit myself a pair, especially now it's getting chilly :) Love the blues or the berries... may even be able to use one to knit a light cardigan for my little girl.... and I am already following your blog:) thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteps: My mum lives in Devonport...so next time I'm there I must pop into the market :)

ReplyDeleteI would really like to try it out! A summer shalw
I like the green colorrange.

Eva
I would love the varigated blue (not the lightest one or the darkest, its sort of in the middle) I would love to win it on mothers day because my life is being a mum and its something I love doing and so is knitting (its my salvation after a busy day) so to win a skein of my favourite colour for my favourite time out hobby on a day that celebrates my favourite job would be just perfect. you can contact me on facebook (Louise Robson) or through Elizabeth from Zippitydodah.
ReplyDeletei just would love to feel for real wool/yarn from new zealand ! I never did !
ReplyDeleteAnd i want to knit some socks muyuself one day. maybe this would be enough motivation to start with it ;)
I can't really choose because they are all so gorgeous!
This one maybe ? : 4 colours, fine stripes – green, teal, denim, blue
Would love to win some to kick-start me into knitting again as have struggled to find the time and energy lately with so much put into caring for my special-needs son x
ReplyDeletesalü! self-striping sock wool puts me in a really good mood, whatever day of the week, that's why i need/would like a skein. it's just so darn nifty - and saves me the effort of knitting complicated sock patterns (just leave the stripes to do their magic). the turquoise/green section really caught my eye. and i can't believe it, but i wasn't yet an official follower. that was quickly remedied.
ReplyDeleteI just would love to have a skein of varigated green. Then I would knit a pair of socks for myself ta keep my feet warm and remember my luck!
ReplyDeleteWould love to try out your yarn!! Looks so wonderful, cannot decide witch colour I like best, but one of the blue or lilac mixes would for sure match my stiches!!
ReplyDeleteI haven`t tried your yarn yet but I really want to make a shawl of it. My favorite color is burgundy variegated. I follow your nice blog.
ReplyDeleteelainesbild@yahoo.se
I would love to win =)

ReplyDeleteHi! I would like to win of course!
ReplyDeleteAnd my motivation is:
I am a student. I can't afford this until I'm finished school (like 2016 or something...) And when I do, I have some money to pay back for all my study..
Short, luxury is far away from my life. And I would love to have some!
And color? How can anybody choose? But I think that the pink/orange is just what I need to make my life more colorful!
You can find me at:
www.ecadesign.blogg.se or e.c.a.design@hotmail.com or ecadesign at ravelry. I really hope that I have the luck on my side! :)
I would love any colour because I am knitting my God-daughter a wardrobe of clothes for her Barbie & this wool would be amazing for a technicolour dream coat. (Personally I prefer Blues but Little Miss won't mind).
ReplyDeletel.low@xtra.co.nz
I would love to win some of your yarn in the green blue colourway. That would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried your yarn an would love to! I love the red/purple colourways.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I love these colours soooo much!! <3 I have your shop on my want list for when we have some spare money, your yarns are always so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think I would choose the pinky-orangey range of colours, they are so bright and summery! x

i love the turquoise one!
ReplyDeletesmileylegs.blogspot
Me me me! I would love to win!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't decide between the denim-lime-light purple one and the fuchsia-pink-turquoise-light turquoise one...
I am already following you. I also like you on facebook.
hetkabinet.blogspot.com
I would love to try out your yarn! I love trying out unknown (to me) indie dyers! Anything in the green colorway would work for me.....
ReplyDeleteI would love a skein for socks, socks, and more socks! My favorite colors are definitely in the greens and blues range, but I also love purple. Thanks so much for this awesome give-away; it's really generous of you.
ReplyDeletethanks for this give away of gorgeous yarn! My son and daughter in law are back in Europe after studying and working in NZ. Especially my daughter in law is homesick after NZ, so something to keep her feet warm in this beautiful NZ wool would be of great comfort, I think.
ReplyDeleteShe loves warm red tones, but the colors of the sea or the paua shell would be great too.
Any of the teal to yellow colourways would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried hand dyed BFL and would love to give it a go. I love all the fuchsia shades.
ReplyDeleteBimbi x
I'd love to win some yarn. I am addicted to knitting socks! Any colour except orange would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI have not knitted any socks yet but I am gearing myself up to it and the 100% BFL sock yarn,semi-solid in the Red/orange colourway would be a brilliant place to start don't you think?
ReplyDeleteThank you for this wonderful opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI would very much like to try one of your yarns, it would be a new experience for me as I never knitted with hand-dyed self striping.
I like all those blue-ish ones!
In case Fortuna looks at me, you can find me as TheKnitterInMimi on Ravelry
I joined your blog! I hope I get two chances! Anyway such beautiful yarn. I would love the burgundy one, its beautiful, I have never knit with hand dyed or self stripping or even silk or merino ---yeah I am a new knitter and havent gotten into the really great yarns yet. Would love a chance!
ReplyDeleteOh and I would knit a shawl for myself, because I just would want to do something beautiful and showy all for me!
BFL! I've been looking around trying to find someone in NZ who dyes it, what a nice surprise to find you! I've yet to work with a 'proper' self striping yarn, so yours would be lots of fun to try. All the colours look yummy, but it's the denim, lime and light purple skein that made me jump with excitement.
ReplyDeleteI love sock yarn and contests so this is a pleasure to find your blog. I am joining your blog following today!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win any of the colors, they are all beautiful...I would make a shawlette or a beautiful pair od socks.....ooooo i hope i win :) Ravelry name: Rosejulia1 (thats the number 1) hugs, rose
ReplyDeleteI would love to win as a yarn diet is limiting me from purchasing any. If Kiwiyarns Knits says its beautiful yarn then thats good enough for me! I love autumn colours but especially orange, I am now following your blog and on FB :-)
ReplyDeleteYour yarn looks gorgeous! I would adore having some in any color. Surprises are always nice :) I would sign up to follow your blog, but seeing as I'm on Wordpress I haven't yet figured out how to follow bloggers on other sites. You can find me on Ravelry under my blog title, MinaandMe.
ReplyDelete~Lacey
Gosh, so many comments already!! Gotta be in to win, huh? I haven't tried self striping sock yarn yet, as the only yarn I've found is over in the US. I'd absolutely love to try some of yours, especially as I've been meaning to try it for some time - I've heard only good things about BFL. If I don't win (likely) I shall purchase some anyway :-) As for colourway, anything!! I'm not picky. Don't know why I'm not already following your blog, but rest assured, I am now ;-) Ravelry name: kreachr, blog: kreachr's little corner
ReplyDeleteI would love to try your BFL for socks because, let's face it, merino really isn't the BEST choice for socks. It may be soft but it isn't exactly hardwearing. Your colours are all gorgeous so it would be really, really hard to choose...probably something from the blue range, maybe deeper rather than lighter.
ReplyDeletefuschia, red, berry, purple please! but to be perfectly honest i could be swayed by any of them... and if that makes me weak then you only have your lovely sock yarn to blame...
ReplyDeleteravelry name YARNstudio
oops, forgot to say WHY I want your yarn - well apart from the obvious (it is yummy) I am going on a plane journey and socks are the perfect travel companion. and self-striping yarn will make me look like a knitting goddess to all the non-knitters. and the weather in europe is completely FREEZING at the moment and I fear for the safety of my toes.
ReplyDeleteOf course I'd love to try your yarn! Actually I didn't realise you were doing this, I only knew before about your cottons. I like the fushia, berry, red& orange mix as I want to make Mel Clark's Bird of Paradise socks, and these colours are perfect :) saskyumchar on Ravelry
ReplyDeleteI've just moved to New Zealand from San Francisco and I am dying to try out some beautiful kiwi yarns! Preferably in your denim or navy color schemes. It's getting chilly here in Wellington and I want to make some fingerless mitts :)

I've been using sock wool recently to crochet some beanies for myself, as I am starting chemotherapy this week and will end up losing my hair just in time for winter!
ReplyDeleteI would love your 'green, light green, blue, light blue' wool for its serene colour, that's also bright enough to be cheerful too.

I would love to try your sock yarn, even though I have a few to knit up already, ahem! You can always use another skein, right? They look so beautiful I will have to break down and buy yet another skein for my stash! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous and wonderful giveaway! Thank you for the chance to win your beautiful yarns. Choosing a set of colors is near impossible -- I love them all. I'm partial to your greens and blues. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteprojectstashEL on Ravelry
I would love to try some of your yarn in the blue mix. I have two daughters, one who works in an office right below an air vent, and another who works in a hospital where it is always cold. I could make something lovely and warm for one of them to wear to work. I've never used your yarn before, but it is really lovely!
ReplyDeletegreyowl60 at yahoo dot com
I would love some of your blue mix yarn. My wee grandson loves to wear wool socks in the winter time and his feet have grown since last year.
ReplyDeleteMe, me, me. I'd love some of the greeny blue yarn. Just seen a delicious short scarf that would be amazing in your yarn and would make wonderful presents for my girls [and one for me as well] And you'd help my family as knitting keeps me sane.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colours... Thank You for such a wonderful give-a-way... I've recently used sockwool never knowing before what beautiful wool it is to use... ReplyDeleteOoooo yes please! I'm a new sock knitter (with only one pair under my belt), and I think I've caught the bug!
ReplyDeleteI found you via the Kiwiyarns Knits blog, by the way. I haven't tried your yarn yet, but the colours look gorgeous. I love warm, saturated colours like reds, pinks, oranges, and purples.
wow! I would love the opportunity to try out your yarn.... and knit some scrumptious socks, self striping sounds awesome!! all those colors look brilliant, thanks...... joeandvicki@xtra.co.nz
ReplyDeleteOoohhhh what scrumptious wool!! I would love to try the orange-ish colour scheme.. I am a beginner knitter and so far have only done scarfs.. would love to try your wool!

i was just looking longingly at Kiwiyarns Knits, and wishing i too could knit socks.....for me!! i have a fused ankle and a chronic paqin condition and my foot is getting very numb and colder than usual this year, so......warm handknitted socks would be perfect. i am a very good knitter, it is the heels that worry me. however, as i read so many of all your blogs and ravelrey i will give it a go. Purple/pink if i am lucky enough to win thank you very, very much. i feel so inspired as well thanks so very much to you, Kiwiyarns Knits and other blogs :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous yarn! I'd like a skein because I'm new to your yarn and I love knitting socks. I'd prefer something in the blue/green colour range.
ReplyDeleteikkinlala AT yahoo DOT ca
I'm an avid knitter descended from a line of avid knitters. I've a great desire to learn how to kinit socks, no-one else in the family has been that adventurous. A gift of yarn would set me off. Who knows it may even go into the new handbag that I've bought for an upcoming trip by train and ferry. Had to have a new bag big enough to accomadate the knitting! Most of my production goes to my two youngest nieces and nine great-nieces and nephews. In recent times all have recieved their own "aunty's special blanket" (about 20 made over five years, including two for my dogs!), and new hats apiece each winter, plus hats for those adults who have hinted hard enough! Currently working on slippers for them all. Being a very fair aunty, if one gets a item knitted - they all get an item knitted. I am thinking that my next projects will involve knitting for charity - maybe chemo hats, or prem baby hats. Have actually knitted infinity scarves and hats for myself this winter.
