Sock yarn!

Yes, I’m very pleased to let you know that I now have a range
of hand-dyed sock yarn. And not any kind of sock yarn, but
superwash 100% BFL – the yarn that sock-knitters all over the
world are raving about! It’s a lustrous yarn with a high twist
that makes it durable for socks. But it’s soft to the skin so it’s
just as suitable for baby clothes, shawls, wrist-warmers
or any other 4ply knitting.

Happy-go-knitty BFL comes in semi-solid and self-striping.
Yes, that’s right – self-striping! So now you can knit stripy
socks without the hazzle of all the ends. Yay!
The self-striping comes in two versions –
4 colours fine stripes or 2 colours wide stripes.

The yarn will be available shortly in my shop at
Oh, For Crafts Sake. But you can come and see and touch
tomorrow at Devonport Craft Market.

Beautiful flowers

A few weeks ago I sent some hand-dyed cotton to a lady in America.
She has come back to me, telling me she has become a complete
crochet addict... Look at the beautiful flowers she has made!

Harriet makes the most stunning glass beads.
I hope you don’t give them up, Harriet!

You can see her beads here.

Do you want to make the flowers too?
You can buy the pattern here.

I added more stock to my ‘market table’ today,
lots of yummy 12ply core spun wool.
