A family affair
My family is very crafty and arty.
My hubby is a fantastic artist and a great musician.
My son is very interested in architecture and 3D graphics.
My daughter is crafty and loves singing and dancing.
My sister MiA is an amazing fibre artist.
I really recommend a visit to her blog, Minspiration,
it gives you heaps of inspiration.
And my mum is very crafty too.
She has just visited us for a couple of weeks
and look what she whipped up from sheep skin
and hand-dyed yarn!
I couldn't make up my mind about the colours,
so asked her for a mix on mine.
These are for my daughter who loves green and purple!
These slippers are soft and warm
and an absolute dream to wear!

Pretty in pink
Today I received a lovely email from a lady who bought a skein of
Happy-go-knitty BFL sock yarn a few weeks ago. She has crochet
these beautiful socks for her gorgeous little daughter!

Stripy yarn
I have been dyeing stripy sock yarn for 6 months now
and it's proving very popular.
and it's proving very popular.
Stripy yarn is so handy, you get stripy socks
without having to do all the ends!
without having to do all the ends!
A couple of weeks ago I dyed some 8ply merino stripy.
And I have now had a little play with making fingerless mittens.
They are still lacking the thumb part, but they will soon be finished.
I will have them ready-made and as a kit (yarn and pattern),
if you would like to knit your own ones.
