Green fingers

I received an order for a pair of fingerless mittens so tonight I delivered
these green mittens with sparkles. They are a gift for a lady who works
at a garden centre. I know that they will keep her hands warm and
it looks like they will make her fingers greener!

And now with labels

Ready to go to a new home!

If you are interested in buying my hand-dyed yarn, feel free to drop me a line.
Email address in the header.

And it wasn’t until I saw the photos here, that I realised that
I have forgotten to put 50g on the labels...

Grrrrrmpfffff...

Lucky I noticed and I have one more evening to go before the market!

Yarn for sale

I use cotton yarn for my beanies and flowers and I dye it myself into beautiful colours.

Last week a big lot of cotton yarn arrived from overseas.
It is now dyed and wound into 50gram balls. Yarn for sale for the first time!

I’m doing the Crafternoon Tea market on Saturday. I usually get lots of interest
for my yarn so it will be interesting to see if it will sell.

This yarn works just as well for crocheting as for knitting.

Top row: Bubblegum, Cotton candy, Mandarine, Vanilla, Peppermint, Icicle and Wave
Bottom row: Tomato, Watermelon, Flame, Sunflower, Olive, Meadow and Aqua
To come: Forest, Feijoa, Sunbeam, Navy and Denim

Fingerless mittens

I’m doing the Mother’s Day market in Parnell tomorrow
and I will have a new product with me – fingerless mittens.

I have extended the cuff and knitted with a thicker wool.
So far I have only had time to make three pairs, but there will be more!

New stock

I did my first market for the season yesterday – Devonport Craft market.
It was so much fun to catch up with old friends, I did some pretty good sales
and I got an order. Yay!

Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera so I couldn’t take any photos of my table...
I have a new very cool display but I can’t show you this time.
At least I took some photos the day before the market.

Soft and warm merino cuffs.

Beadknitted cuffs in merino or alpacka.

27 beanies made of my handdyed cotton.

Flowers galore!
The double flowers at the top are rings and brooches.
The single ones hair clips and hair ties.

Well, my hand isn’t that pretty but the ring is cool, eh!
